Alex has a PGCHE teaching certificate from Falmouth University and is a regular guest lecturer at Plymouth College of Art both in class and on-line. Alex also holds a Higher Distinction Level 2 CPD Award in Teaching Assistant & NCFE Cert. Level 2 in Understanding: Specific Learning Difficulties, Safeguarding & Prevent, Mental Health Advocacy & Behaviour that Challenges.
With 40 years experience in the photographic industry from grass roots in black & white wet chemistry darkrooms in London and working as a press and studio photographer for ten years learning his craft through to the last 30 years at the 'top end' of the FILM & TV industry producing marketing and publicity images Alex has a wealth of knowledge and experience at his disposal to support a new generation of image makers.
Alex has presented for Nikon at their awards ceremony in London Olympia, at The Media Museum in Bradford and NEC Birmingham.
Alex has been interviewed by amongst others the British Journal of Photography, Amateur Photographer, E-photozine and Channel 4 about his photographic achievements in the Film & TV industry and his photography work in general.
